{grocery bag goodness}

 No one ever said that {grocery bags} had to be green!

I fell in love with this utility fabric and decided to try my hand at creating a {reusable bag}.

It is nice and roomy and embellished with a pretty hand crafted peony, dyed velvet and canvas leaves.

I've posted lots of photos -

{enjoy!}

I never shop without my 2 sturdy Lands End bags. But I haven't embellished them. Thanks for the inspiration. Time for the bags quarterly bath, so I ''ll be making flowers (or snowflakes) for the totes while they dry.

That's an awesome utility fabric. Love the bag! I would like to make one but darn it if I don't leave my green sacks at home or in the car CONSTANTLY! I doubt I'd forget this one though! Thanks for sharing, Rae. I hope you've been well! Happy New Year!
